With the downturn overall in the economy, you would expect the jobs at the top of the organization would be getting scarce. However, members on the move in TechForum tell me that there are good jobs in the security space right now. A recent survey by IMD International Search group predicted a big turnover at in the upper echelons of corporate management as a result of the Baby Boomers retiring. However, in this study, they found that in spite of growing shortage of skilled workers, 2/3 of corporate management teams interviewed have no succession plans for corporate leadership. Looking at my own 401K, I wonder if there are other baby boomers who fear that their retirement saving are not going to be enough to support them after 64.
